On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had said:
"For those people who assemble in one of Allahs Houses (mosques) reciting the Book of Allah and teaching it to each others, there will descend upon them the tranquillity and mercy will cover them and the angels will flock around them and Allah mentions them in the presence of those near Him."
