`Abdullah bin `Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw a gold ring in a mans hand. He (the Holy Prophet) pulled it off, and threw it away, saying:
If one of you intends to go towards a fire brand, let him put this in his hand.

- Wearing gold rings by men is prohibited and considered one of the grievous sins.
