The Campaign to Defend the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Al-Salâm `Alaykum wa Rahmah Allah wa Barakâtuh.
These last few weeks have been witness to a deliberate and well-organized smear campaign against the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is being carried out by America’s evangelical leaders who are effectively exploiting America’s imposing media machinery. They are also using their personal websites in this effort as well. Their strategy is to hurl at the Prophet (peace be upon him) the most disgusting accusations and
vindictive imaginable in a clear attempt to malign Islam and the Muslims and belittle Islam’s religious and moral institutions.
In order to defend our Prophet (peace be upon him), his honor, and his reputation against this cunning campaign, we wish present to you a number of facts about those evangelical leaders, the calumnies and accusations that they are hurling at the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the very close ties that they have with the Bush administration.
We ask Allah to help us in our duty to convey the truth without concealing any of it.
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
