International Committee for the Support of the Final Prophet (ICSFP)
Another repeated act of ignorance by a foolish writer of western origin attacking humanity. the concept of truth, and himself by assailing to mislead others by offending the messenger of Allah piece be upon him, the master of sons of Adam, the finest and most generous of all creatures.
A swedish cartoonist attempted to display his disgraceful cartoons claiming that they portray the messenger of God piece be upon him in an exhibition titled “A dog in Art” in southern Sweden. The exhibit management refused to display the drawings. We thank them for their understanding of the situation at hand and their consideration towards Muslims.
The cartoonist didn’t concede defeat by the consideration of the people of his own culture and the believers of the same notion of freedom. He continued to seek help from the press whereby he received favorable responses from 2 publications who responded to his demands by publishing the news of prohibiting the display of his cartoons, with offending titles to Muslims. One of the newspapers published a hyperlink of his website allowing the readers to browse his cartoons to avoid being held responsible for explicit publishing. In the meantime the members of the people’s party supported the publishing of the cartoons claiming that it is freedom of speech which is the double standard they are proud of having in their highly developed world. An example of these double standards is what happened in Spain when a judge ruled against a magazine that published cartoons of the crown prince and the issue was order to be withdrawn on July 20th, 2007. Where is the freedom of expression in that situation and where are its supporters in Sweden and in the European Union?
Muslims at the moment are expecting for the world’s most rational people to interfere and stop irresponsible actions that weaken the cause of world peace which only effect is the increase of violence in clash of civilizations around the world!
The Swedish government at that time had to interfere in calming down the crisis knowing that escalation will have a negative impact on international interests after knowing how distressed the Muslims were. The Swedish government apologized and condemned the incident. What is expected from the government is to again take the right action and execute effective measures to avoid misinterpretation of “freedom of speech” which should end when it offends others.
We hope that Muslims won’t give offenders the pleasure of succeeding in their insult and refrain from expressing any thoughtless judgments. They should think of a long term plan to achieve prosperity for themselves and their religion. Muslims should always keep in mind that what worries the immoral offenders the most is the spread of Islam and the increasing number of people converting to it. Nothing should stop us from spreading the message of Allah with wisdom and good preaching and encouraging Islam expand in the whole world.
The international Committee for the support of the Final Prophet (ICSFP) is focusing on two main points which clearly depends on Muslims around the world to achieve:
First: Spreading the message of Allah and elucidate the truth of Islam by providing the correct description the Prophet peace be upon him.
Second: Following these activities by taking legal courses of action, as such activities have been abandoned by many however the ICSFP is still determined to continue in pursuit of such offences.
ICSFP won’t hesitate in utilizing its expertise and assisting others within these two domains. The expertise that ICSFP has aquired by pursuing such activities will be used to assist others in their pursuit of our main goals and objectives.
We ask god all mighty to provide prosperity to Islam and Muslims.
